Good Grief Workshop
for Children and Teens
Mount Royal Commemorative Services are pleased to offer our 28th one-day Good Grief Workshop for Children and Adolescents who have experienced the death of someone close to them. This free workshop is for children and adolescents 4 – 15 years old.
Age-specific groups led by a team of trained volunteers will provide a group format to help children understand and express their grief. The workshop will involve structured activities that are designed to give children the opportunity to share their feelings with other grieving children, learn from each other, and honour the memory of the person who died.
On the same day, we also offer a concurrent Parent Discussion Group to give parents/guardians the opportunity to discuss the topic of children’s grief.
